'The Heard' is designed to help more women in fintech get into public facing opportunities.

Whether it’s events, podcasts, panels, or articles, we’re bringing together brilliant women in fintech who can be called on to contribute their thoughts and expertise.

The aim is to bring to light the many fantastic people there are currently in the industry in one place. We want to create an easy resource to research people in the industry you might not be as familiar with yet.

So whether you want to join ‘The Heard’ as a member, and show the world you want to speak about your work, or you want to find out more about some of our speakers, you’re in the right place.

Working on a project?

Fintech has long been known to need more diversity. Products and services need to be built by a variety of people from different backgrounds and experiences, so companies can truly understand the experience of all the customers they’re building for.

The same goes for commentary and opinions within the sector. When it comes to discussing the future of finance, we need a range of voices in the room for the same reason. Without this, we are missing out on crucial ideas and developments to help make fintech work harder for everyone.

If you’re planning an event, content, or interview; diversity will improve the quality of the conversation. Considering our speakers is just one way you can help make sure your project better reflects the industry, and the wider world. Whatever you’re working on, we’d love The Heard to help.

Joining 'The Heard'

Firstly, joining ‘The Heard’ is totally free. As a listed speaker, there’s no charges and no cost for receiving opportunities. We want to make it as easy as possible for women and non-binary people in the community to make themselves known.

But we do need to know a little about you before we create a profile. For example, what you want to talk about, your level of experience, your job title and current role etc.

Please email chantalfromtheheard@gmail.com with the above information and we’ll be sure to get back to you.

*We’ll work hard to make sure our platform is in front of all the people it needs to be, however ‘The Heard’ is not a publicity service. We won’t push certain speakers over others, and we’re not responsible for some speakers receiving more interest than others.
