After an incredible 468 nominations, 64 companies shortlisted and over 12,000 public votes in the People’s Choice category, the winners of the AltFi Awards 2023 were unveiled on Thursday 23rd November.

Shortlisted alongside GoCardless, Pensionbee and Women of Web3 – Judges said that “The winner has tangibly improved representation within the fintech community, boosting the profiles of women and non-binary people in the industry at events and in the media…”
On the win – Chantal Swainston, Founder of The Heard said this:
“When I talk about The Heard, a lot of people ask if it’s ‘just me’ that runs it.
And that’s not really true. The entire concept relies so much on the support, investment, and engagement of the wider industry.
I’m especially grateful to the people who joined in the early stages. Thank you for lending me your name and credibility and allowing me to build on it.
For those who use the platform and the service, thank you for proving regularly that it’s needed, and that the concept serves it’s purpose.
And a huge thank you to anyone who recommends speakers, directs events organisers my way, introduces me to valuable partners, and generally champions what we’re doing.
It simply wouldn’t exist without all the people that have helped so far, and continue to help today.“
